Welcome to adriaticnature!

Hello!

Welcome to the adriaticnature project!

The idea of creating this project occurred long ago, when the first signs of falling in love with the Adriatic Sea with its harsh rocky shores, friendly beaches, mountain scenes and boundless horizon emerged. Later, this fling turned to a real Platonic love of the purest lakes and rivers, woods, meadows and representatives of the real Kingdoms of our planet – the animal kingdom and the plant kingdom, their representatives that settled on the Adriatic coast.

Every person surely has a special “bridge”. And when you cross it, you merge into the nature. In case of adriaticnature it is fishing.

Emotions, modest success and meager knowledge had to be shared as soon as this love was born, but it was clear that it was too early to do this. 4 years had gone by from the date of acquaintance with the sea and the fresh water of the shore, and it was clear again that it was too early as well. But it’s obvious that there is a chance to be 100 years old and still have this feeling as well. After all, “I know that I know nothing” is one of the most felicitous statements attributed to the ancient Greek philosopher Socrates that reflects our humble human abilities.

So, there should be start somewhere.

adriaticnature is designed as an information resource dedicated to fishing on the Adriatic Sea, as well as rivers and lakes of the countries, the beautiful shores of which are adjacent to the Adriatic, including Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Montenegro and Greece a little bit.

adriaticnature will explore other countries, and, in any case, certainly turn to the colleagues in the Mediterranean Sea, and not only to them. Besides, Serbia and Macedonia, which don’t have access to the sea, but are located very close to it, at stone’s throw, won’t be left behind. Moreover, some water bodies can’t be divided along state boundaries (and it shouldn’t be done – as far as you know, fishing is boundless).

Streaming will be mainly done from amazing Montenegro – you can’t be in different places at the same time, but there are like-minded friends everywhere, and they are ready to share the joy of knowledge with you.

adriaticnature will get acquainted with and introduce you to the fish species inhabiting the sea and fresh water, as well as other underwater inhabitants; have a look at various water reservoirs to study the ichthyofauna; become familiar with the rules of amateur fishing in different countries; chat with interesting people; ask questions to producers of fishing gear and jigs, and much more. Gradually, adriaticnature will compile a guide-book on inhabitants of both the Adriatic and freshwater bodies.

Most of the adriaticnature pages will deal with spin fishing, but without offending the fans of other piscatory methods. Where, when, whom, why – there are a gazillion reasons for interesting conversations.
