Fish of the Pseudaphya genus of the Gobiinae (true gobies) subfamily of the Gobiidae family of the Gobiiformes order of the Percomorpha clade of the Acanthopterygii superorder.

Ferrer‘s goby (Pseudaphya ferreri) was first described in 1908 by the Spanish ichthyologist and oceanographer Fernando de Buen y Lozano (1895-1962).
It inhabits the depth of 1-10 meters. It is a pelagic species. It occurs above the sandy bottom. The maximum recorded length is 3.5 cm.
It is a permanent inhabitant of the Adriatic Sea.
